some people have served time know they did wrong repented and paid for their error. Why ruin another life by keeping them in prison when they could be productive American citizens. Think of their families. Everyone deserves another chance. I believe that it is not. If you are guilty or not it has to do with how good your lawyer is. Very few wealthy families have children in prison.

Please help pass this bill. The statistics show this is a good idea & would certainly help the problem with prisons.

The draconian laws of Louisiana are due for a change. The recidivism rate study by LSU and Stanford are statistical proof that there could still be productive citizens within those confines. Humans deserve second chances.

I support this bill.I know some of there lifers personally. Some are part of a program called Re-Entry where they mentor men like myself who have made poor decisions in life. They helped me change into a positive role model and productive member of society again.Give em a break take time to know some of them personally they deserve a chance.

I feel first offenders who did no bodily harm to others should be given a second chance at life. I think life without parole is extremely harsh.
