Selena has been a huge Latin influence in my life since I was born. Although my existence started way after hers was tragically cut short, her spirit is still very much alive in this world. Not a day goes by where I do not listen to her, or am influenced by her or am affected by the overwhelming grief I get when I think about her story and how this beautiful young soul had to suffer at the hands of such an evil person. Her low growl rumble to her high pitch notes are unlike any other. The raspiness she could bring out of her voice was so unique. Selena Quintanilla more than deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She has earned it.
