Selco Must Fall, Selco Must Leave
The community and especially the youth of Keetmanshoop does not want Selco as an electricity distributor. Give the control over to the Keetmanshoop Municipality or a REDs that is prepared to enter into an interim agreement with the Keetmanshoop Municipality untilsuch time that the Southern RED is established.
We request the The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, the Minister of Mines and Energy and the Electricity Control Board to intervene and answer to the plight of the community.
As electorates we expect that the council, the chairperson of the management committee, the government to act in our best interest, we expect to be heard. We say DO NOT sign ANY agreement with Selco. Selco is expensive, we the consumers CANNOT afford.
