I’m sure there’s more to the story. But these are people trying to offer more for the kids in our community. The ridiculous part is that it’s on their own land. Let’s help people like this succeed.

The city council NEEDS to approve this, plain and simple!

Please let this happen for our kids. This town needs plenty of places like this to help kids find their place.

We often talk about how we want to give our children more opportunities close to home. We want to keep families in Jerseyville, support our small businesses, and build a thriving, active community. DanceWorks is doing exactly that — and this new location would allow us to do it even better. As a DanceWorks teacher, and a former NinjaZone instructor, I can confidently say that DanceWorks is the place to be. Alongside Shannon and the rest of our amazing team, we have so many exciting ideas and opportunities we’re eager to bring to the kids in our community — but we’re currently limited by the space we have. We’ve recently upgraded our hip hop program to better prepare students for high school-level dance teams, and we’re also enhancing our tumbling program to offer more advanced, progressive training. With a new facility, we could take these programs even further — reaching more students and giving them the space they need to grow.

We say all the time kids need things to do besides sitting on a tablet or in front of the tv, here is something for them to do. This is the type of activity they need.

Please allow DanceWorks to grow at this new location

Please save the little ninjas class.

This is exactly what Jersey County needs! DanceWorks has given many kids in our community, and surrounding communities, a place to grow, develop, learn and, most importantly, enjoy! I would love to see this new building come to life so more kids in our community have the opportunity to do something that they will love! I highly support the petition to rezone and allow DanceWorks to build a new building that will better our community for years to come!

This is such a needed service to the youth of the Jerseyville community.

This would be great for kids. Please reconsider. Danceworks is out of room. My granddaughter goes there.

Dance Works deserves a new home! A space for children to go to be active. Shannon and her staff have the best intentions for all of their dancers/ninjas. This isn’t just a need for DanceWorks, a MUST for our community.

We have been sending our daughter to dance works. This is our first year. I have been worried and paranoid about the cramped and congested parking situation since the very first time I dropped my daughter off for class. I have been telling my husband "a child is going to get hit here some day". Dance works had been so amazing for my daughter and my son wants to participate in the Ninja program but if they can't get a new space then that will never happen! Please allow this rezoning for the sake of the kids that want to be involved in the classes that Dance Works offers!

City of Jerseyville…make this right! A well established business, started by a born and raised Jerseyville citizen NEEDS a new home…this is not just a want. Let us build our new studio!

We love the ninja program! It has helped our son, Henry grow in so many different ways! We would love to see the business and program expand to serve the community to its full potential.

Danceworks needs this! This community should truly suffer without them. Our kids deserve somewhere to go and build their confidence, without sacrificing their safety to get there!
