Safe Act was passed illegally in middle of night and two of the framers of the safe act have been prosecuted for crimes committed while in public office. This is nothing more than an attack on law abiding tax paying citizens.

As a police officer in ny state, I'm completely disgusted by this. The is not criminal. Gang bangers slinging crack & heroin, carrying stolen guns are criminals. Period

Jury nullification would have been appropriate in this case. No government has the right to restrict a sovereign citizen's ability to protect himself from criminals.

Honorable Judge Murphy, you along with our NY legislators took this oath: " I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the constitution of the United States,...". unfortunately many of our legislators have failed to fulfill their pledge by passing an unconstitutional Act. I trust that you will take exception to their failure and grant Mr. Mokhiber his rightful freedom.

NY's SAFE Act is a violation of more than just the 2nd ammendment. It is a violation of all good sense; this is a case in point.
