This petition is for all persons, young and old, male or female regardless of race, ethnic background or orgin. This petition is for those that have made mistakes in the past and have the skills for decent employment but the employers won't hire you because of blemishes on your CORI (criminal offender record inquiry). I believe that in order for society to thrive people deserve a second chance. Because without that, a person will be right back in the judicial/penial system simply for trying to provide for themselves and or their family. I have experienced both sides of checking off the yes box as well as the no box to the question on applications asking "have you ever been convicted of a felony offense". I think it's time, TIME FOR CHANGE...
