The University has officially confirmed that a second 24 hour study space with the requested amenities will be opened. This outcome represents a significant improvement for student life on campus. I appreciate the time taken by everyone who supported this initiative.

Final supporters
We the undersigned petition the University of Reading to provide:
- A second 24 hour study
- With access to toilets
- With access to a water fountain
- With access to a vending machine
For these reasons:
- Not all students are available to use the daytime services
- The current 24 hour study room doesn't have enough access to
desk space
- The facilities required are seen as a necessity
For the use of all students studying on any course by September 2012.

Seriously need toilets near the study area. Running across campus in the middle of the night just to pee is ridiculous.
About time. Studying till 3am is bad enough without having to walk miles for water.
The library is absolutely packed during exam season. You cant even find a seat anywhere. We really need more space.
PLEASE!! The current room is always full and people end up sitting on the floor. It is not okay.
Should have been done years ago. University tuition goes up every year yet facilities stay the same. Sort it out.
