Sign to Oppose A High-Speed Rail Bypass Through Southeastern Connecticut

Please abandon the proposal for a high-speed rail bypass through southeastern Connecticut!

This would be such a waste of money and such a deviation to our environment, businesses and our property values. Put the money to upgrades in our existing railways.

I strongly oppose this bypass plan. It makes no sense from a community, business and environmental viewpoint. Please focus on fixing what we already have in place.

If the administration wants to minimize federal overreach and spending while improving infrastructure and and jobs, let's get to work on fixing what we have.

Stop this High Speed Rail By-Pass

Please stop the insanity of Amtrak. Make our rail system safer and more efficient. Do not destroy communities, business and the environment.

Please please do not wreck our act with this Tier 1 plan. Improve existing rail. Saving 20 minutes is not worth wrecking Mystic Aquarium a big money maker for the state, many Aquifers along the proposed line. This is a HUGE disaster for our state and a misuse of Federal Funds! Anne Page

I oppose a high-speed rail bypass through SE Connecticut. It would ruin many of our natural resources, disturb and destroy our beautiful shoreline and charming towns and worsen our economy which continues to struggle. Please oppose this! If not, I and many others will move out of this area.

Say no to this and the Bypass through Westerly and Charlestown, RI.

The economic and environmental effects would be detrimental to this area for so many different reasons. For $135 billion only 20 minutes gained! REMOVE the bypass from the Tier I plan NOW!!! We will NOT accept this bypass!!!

Destroying southeastern CT's shoreline history and environment to save commuters a few minutes and amtrak make more money. NO , every single one of the people in charge of this should be fired, NOW

NO WAY!!! Haven't heard of anyone, not one person, in the area in which I live, that WANTS this to happen. PLEASE do not do this. You can't do this to our beautiful region.

This concept/route makes no sense to gain 20 minutes of time while disrupting the shorelines and historic towns of southeastern Connecticut.

Stop the idea of improving rail service in the northeast corridor by damaging the historic value of Connecticut coastal communities! Makes no sense!

Do not destroy this beautiful historic town and my home's value and that of many, many others.

Do not allow this rail to put people out of their homes! Especially when this is not going to save anyone extra time! 20 minutes is nothing!
