As a regular visitor to this area I am appalled by this suggested development. I am not against development per se, but this is totally inappropriate.

We had the opportunity to visit this extremely beautiful sea shore! Do not destroy the natural beauty. (smaller progress/density without destroying the natural surroundings) This coastline and community certainly is a gem!

It is really amazing that Sechelt is considering rezoning a single family waterfront residence to one that more than 1% of the population of Sechelt could occupy. This will definitely increase traffic problems at the North end of town for all existing residents, reduce the quality of life for people who enjoy peace and tranquility in the area, degrade the natural forested beauty of the area, and further significantly extend the already-existing beachfront densification.

To be able to walk down a well treed lane and out to the waterfront is such a plus for our small town. There are numerous school classes each day that use this lane....what a
wonderful memory of growing up in Sechelt. Do we want their memories to be about the brick and cement that they could have had living in a big city? Save the trees and small town feel of Sechelt!

Surely the environment has to be taken seriously....people live on the Sunshine Coast and in particular this are....because they love and want to preserve nature and all it's wonder and ecological significance. this proposed development is certainly not "environmentally friendly" and should be shelved

This rezoning should never happen! This is parcel of land that is surrounded by SINGLE family homes, both Waterfront and Non Waterfront. A much lower density, with a repect for the mature trees on the parameter of the property would be acceptable .

Densification of this scale can only have a negative effect on the neighbourhood and the cutting down of large old trees will diminish the charm of the town.

The size of this development is too large for the site and will add to traffic congestion and destroy waterfront ecology. It should not be permitted in an area zoned for single family residences.

The District has all ready ruined the Waterfront in Sechelt by allowing the 6 Story Watermark building that blocks off 1 block of ocean frontage. No more please.

This proposed development is far too great in size, given it's location. The old growth trees on this property need protection. The expansion of the park next door to include this property would really be a thoughtful gift to future generations.
