SeaTech builds on and complements the academic programs of the Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering and forms the means for technology advancement, collaboration with academia, industry, and government, and transition of research products to applications." -FAU website Due to budget cuts FAU is considering not offering classes at this campus anymore. Without the equipment and technology that SeaTech offers the ocean engineering students will be at a disadvantage in today's job market, and the reputation for the program for being the best in the nation would be demolished. It is our duty to prove that not only is this campus beneficial to Ocean Engineering students, but to all of FAU.
