Seatbelts for School Bus
The very recent school bus rollover incedent of Hamburg School District has brought forward an issue for a lot of us. Why does one of the biggest methods of transportation for our babies not require seatbelts? The kids fell out of seats and on top of one another bumping heads and breaking noses, luckily not obtaining worse injuries. The driver has a belt, and the driver stays seated the whole way. The kids are allowed to bounce around the bus and scream and play the whole time. Yes there are rules about those things but are all 20 or so kids going to listen? Especially after a whole school day? Did you when you rode your bus? Put belts on the bus, help ease the drivers nerves a little and maybe even keep some babies from getting bumped and bruised next time there's an accident.
