The emails I receive from those of you who have worked alongside these creatures confirm that we are fighting for something real even when the progress feels slow. My days are consumed with drafting letters to local restaurants and food suppliers to push for this change in policy. This work is draining but knowing that people are starting to see octopuses as individuals instead of food keeps me going.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing this level of momentum proves we are not alone in this fight. This progress is heavy and I am grateful to everyone who has decided to push forward with me despite the challenges.

Please STOP octopus from being killed ! They are unique marine animals who are not food ! We must limit our fishing to sustainable species of fish!
I've watched so many great programs illustrating the intelligence of octopus. I cringe when I see them on the menu and have to change the channel if they're being used on cooking shows. I hope this petition is signed by many more than the 200 you're looking for!
Just hate that people still think they are food. Such beautiful animals.
Octopus are super smart and honestly just amazing to watch. I stopped eating them years ago when I realized how clever they are. Totally agree with this move.
STOP EATING THEM!! They are way too intelligent to be on a dinner plate, it makes me sick seeing them on menus in dublin.
Everyone should watch the (Oscar-winning) documentary 'My Octopus Teacher'.
