The punishment handed down by AFLNT is far to harsh for an honest mistake made by managment. I personally don't see why these young men should be brought down as well when fining the club would be more than suffice.

Ridiculous decision does not encourage juniors points should be reinstated

Penalising a whole team by taking points away for an honest mistake and clerical error on the AFL's behalf is not right. This decision has single handedly demorailsed kids in this team and at an age where the sport needs to be grooming them to become senior level players, not trying to turn them away from our great game. This decision needs to be reversed and points reinstated to show some justice, and the AFL need to own up and realise that this is a mistake on their behalf.

this punishment is far to harsh for an honest mistake, these are young boys who enjoy playing the game and has gutted alot of them as it has dropped their standing in the table

Penalising an entire team for an honest mistake (oversight) as a reult of a system error seems a little unfair. If the player had deliberately entered a false DOB then thats a different matter. We are always trying to promote our great game, however I believe the penalty in this incidence is too severe and could very well turn players away from the game.

This decission should be reversed due to it being from their system that has allowed it!

I tend to agree why punish the kids for a clerical area - if needs be fine the club! Mistakes are made no need to punish kids that are trying to learn how to strive and move forward in life.....let them have a go!

Why blame and take it out on these kids when it was not their mistake, bad decision, should be reversed and problem fixed.

The NTFL has got this wrong as decisions like this may turn young men away from this great game.

The club followed the rules and has done nothing wrong. It's sad for the boys.
