We should be able to bring atleast one person from another school to prom.

Last year when I couldn't bring my girlfriend from another district to my Prom, she almost broke up with me. I had to invest an additional $200 dollars of my university tuition funds into purchasing "make-up" chocolate and other expensive feminine accessories to maintain my own sanity. University students are poor, life is short, let's make this petition a reality.

I don't see why this is such a big deal. They won't even look at the idea of one person coming from a different school with permission.

You should be able to take your bf, gf to your prom no matter what grade or school they go to. It's an important day for us to graduate so why can't we share it with the person we love

Brendan, I feel that many schools would appreciate if the rule was lifted, its really sad that many past grads either didn't attend prom or didn't enjoy it fully because they couldn't bring the person of their choice

Nasiba, I agree, we should be able to celebrate with people important to us whether they attend our school or not.

This was an opportunity that I never had the chance to have when I graduated. I know that this would surely be greatly appreciated by the student body of Burnaby North.

The rule of not being able to bring our friends to our prom stops us from celebrating with ones who supported us.
