Please consider reducing the density of this project. The project should pay for all road improvements to mitigate the 30,000+ new car a day trips.

I and many of my neighbors in Alcala Knolls believe 4,300 residential units is (1.) super density, too many people in too small an area; (2.) will cause huge new parking problems on Friars, Via Las Cumbres, Linda Vista Road; (3.) because they will not all always use the trolley system as it exists now and for the next decade at least. SD Police Department must add 10 new officers, and SD Fire must build a fire house in the project. Has the City stepped up for that?

As a resident of The Courtyards mission valley, the construction of the Riverwalk development is extremely concerning to me. We already have an issue with traffic and flooding here and this is with acres of open land that can help absorb some of this rainwater in the winter. This is not to mention the issue with the wildlife that lives in this area being forced into residential areas. Furthermore, the pollution that will come from this development will be staggering. Please, please reconsider this project.

This project is ridiculous. We have been going back and forth on this for years. We have been mislead the whole time. This is not or will be a improvement to our community.

If you pass this building project the road in front of golf course needs to be flood proofed by the developer. You cant have only east/west traffic on friars during the winter when the road is washed out. Its already too difficult to get around. People will not take the trolley with covid happening.

We have enough traffic - this will cause smog, congestion and take away from nature already destroyed when Civita was built. This is becoming a mini Los Angeles!

I live at the southern end of Friars Village. I'm simply devastated by this development project, for so many reasons. The years-long construction noise, the traffic, and my lovely view of the valley will be gone. As a real estate agent, I can tell you that EVERYONE in the area should be concerned. This project will directly impact the value of your homes... in a negative way.
