WEST MISSION VALLEY RIVERWALK DEVELOPMENT - LESS DENSE MAKES MORE SENSE!

I have been in favor of this project for several years, until the EIR was published. In fact, this project is the reason we moved back to the valley. Council members you cannot approve this project without mitigating the air quality. Hines says it cannot be corrected without cutting density. How can you approve a project that lessens the quality of life for current home owners?

We do not need another huge development ... way too many apartment homes & resulting traffic congestion!

I am totally against replacing scarce natural beauty with anything else, especially crowds of people and large buildings.

I live near Mission Valley and have witnessed the heavy traffic in the area- which has already resulted in accidents, including the recent fatality. Less dense with an emphasis on buyable homes (not rentals) makes more sense.

This project will ruin mission valley, it would be absurd to approve it.

I live in Friars Road directly across from River Walk GC and certainly see daily excessive fast traffic. Attempting to exit our complex is already dangerous as evident by this weeks fatality. Additional traffic would be a mistake.

We do not need 4,300 residential, 1,000,000 office and retail space. Town and Country has re-gentrified and bigger than ever creating more traffic and the Tremmel housing less than a 10th of a mile from town and country. Do not over build in MV!!

We need to have a traffic and road plan in place to alleviate congestion . Traffic needs to be routed to Hotel Circle side. NOT on Friars. Friars can not handle more traffic. The new on-ramp to 163 did not alleviate traffic, the inner change is dangerous coming on/off the freeway to Friars.

There are too many condos in the area already. Traffic has been a real problem. We do not need any more of them. Please think of our safety and stop this development.

This area is already busy and crowded by shopping centers and residents.

I reside across the street and do not wish to have more traffic and noise than now.

It will be too congested & water drainage a problem.

I am a Mission Valley resident and do not support this project moving forward. With no additional police stations, fire stations and police officers, I see an already overburdened system becoming untenable. I am shocked to see the traffic study with faulty data and Hines developers driving a solution that doesn't work for our community. They will implement their business plan and be gone when things start to fail. Who will be left to pick up the pieces and fix the problems?

No redevelopment with community input and adherence to local green ordinances and environmental regulations.

Yes we need more housing near transit but this isn’t workforce housing. Nor do we need the additional office/retail space that this plan has with so much already vacant or soon to be.

This is ugly for our city, will harm the already damaged ecosystem and most certainly will continue to push beautiful San Diego toward hideous LA/OC.

The monstrosity of this high density development outweighs any benefit to the local community of mission valley (mv) and beyond. Mv will suffer and sicken even more with the increased stress on its environment, current residents, limited roads and other infrastructure. Only those who profit monetarily will win and that’s NOT in the best interest for San Diego.

Don’t destroy the valley. Just improve it accurate to plan. Take the time required. It’s a riverbed don’t forget that because nature won’t.

Like we need this. The politicians sold there soul to the devil.
