Great idea! A historical site and living reef rivalling some of the best wrecks around the world! Should be sunk away from shore so the diveboat operators can benefit as well. Near the Stubborn would be good (bridge and deck in recreational depth and tecdivers can have fun at the prop and lower decks) Also within easy reach of boatoperators from SPB, Sliema, M'ha and even Gozo...

Every body who I talk to about HMS Illustios to make a an under water monument said will be a great idea those old people who remember well those moments, said its part of our history and part of love she was really an iron lady.hope to be here

Suggest off St Pauls Island Malta depth around 55 m and near to HMS Stubborn. Easy to reach by boat and no hazard to shipping.
