In a recent study, over 94% of teenagers are reported to use social networking sites several times a day. This translates to almost one and a half hours spent during a session leading to a less productive day overall. Teenagers use social networking sites to constantly check their profile due to anxiety they have about missing out on something in their social world. I am asking you to sign this pledge to go without social media entirely for two hours. This means for you to go out and interact with the world without technology. This experience will leave you with a different mindset on just how different the world is when you escape social media. So together lets Screen Escape!

totally down for this. 2 hours is nothing, we spend way too much time staring at screens anyway.

I agree with this petition, but, it seems only the 5% are signing this. Hopefully, more people will sign this!
