This is damaging people's ability to make a living. It needs to be revised at the very least.

Restore ad funding to content providers doing a SERVICE by educating a public seeking/SEARCHING reliable information on specific products. The Second Amendment is every law abiding citizens RIGHT. YOUTUBE is not a court of law, and if it were, you would agree.

Very unfair with the targeting being delt out by YouTube. Affecting some of the best content creators for no warranted reason. Please fix this broken system.

This needs to stop. Loyal youtubers can't upload properly anymore without their videos instantly being struck off as inappropriate! This is annoying and pathetic by YouTube!

Recently, YouTube deployed an algorithm meant to scrub thru content uploaded to channels and flag things that might be “unsuitable for all advertisers.” This algorithm is busted. It does not work properly. It has continuously flagged very safe-for-work, very politically correct YouTube videos. These videos contain no language that falls under the categories of: threatening or malicious. The content breaks no copyright law. The content does not include language that would harm a child or offend any ethnicity, religion or race.
For example, one such “flagged video” was a detailed analysis of a character from a book. It was a character analysis much like one does while in college. The video was spoken word with an original art piece (still) being the only image. The author was of course cited and the speaker/content provider directed the reader to the specific places they could find the read passages. There was no profanity used. There was no baiting. It was a simple character analysis. How can something so SAFE be flagged as unsuitable for all advertisers.
We, as YouTube consumers and end-users ask that YouTube immediately end the use of this algorithm pending investigation of its accuracy. It should not be the responsibility of content providers nor viewers to prove such accusations false if the “accuser” is a broken algorithm. Content providers and viewers alike understand the need for advertisement. The need for a means to curtail unsavory activity that is offensive to advertisers is also understandable. However this algorithm does not perform its intended function. Stop this immediately.

Many of my channels have been impacted by this. If this continues and they find other areas to share their videos I will follow and never return to YouTube. This is ridiculous unnecessary censorship and is wrong on every level

No comment necessary, except for the fact this is ruining peoples channels and often their livelihood.

YouTube should be more responsible to their consumers and the content creators that make this site possible.

I don't understand how a channel host of GoT can be flagged for inappropriate content.. MOST of GoT is inappropriate! However, we fans still love it just the same AND we love the hosts that bust their butts making righteous vids JUST FOR US..

The contents from this creator are in no way offensive or in no way out of line. We need a serious review. Thank you

The algorithm may have good intentions, but unless there is some kind of rapid review by a human being and some kind of due process for the accusation from a strike, it is a broken system. There may be some humans capable of putting offensive, pornographic or even outright violent videos out on Youtube, but there are also plenty of humans capable of claiming petty strikes on channels that they are competing with for views or do not like. It actually appears to be a common and childish practice, which has implications for people who are trying to create content for others and generate income for themselves.
Please review this under scrutinized process before more channels have to suffer because of it.
Thank you.

I'm very disappointed that I cannot see content from my favorite creators in a timely manner due to YouTube's policy regarding content "not suitable for all advertisers." please change your policy and give the small but very worthwhile creators a chance!
