The BBC is extravagant and politically biased and pays silly amounts of money to minor celebrities such as the guests on Mock The Week, Pointless and That Was The Week That Was. Obscene amounts are spent on vanity projects such as Glastonbury and overpaid football pundits and sports commentors (not commentators) are an irrelevance and are not needed. There seems no control over BBC spending by the management and 100+ backroom staff earning over £100,000 is unacceptable.

This is a outdated thing now it needs to go,other countries manage without it let the BBC advertise like everyone else maybe then they can show some decent programs. It's one channel we never watch because of the rubbish that's on there.

The decision to scrap free licences for the over 75s is another example of BBC greed, they are totally out of touch with the people who provide the money they squander

People shoulld be able to opt out of using BBC services. With the introduction of smart tv technology, BBC could be scrambled unless you want to opt in for a show or televised event.

None of the residents where I live are able to receive any of the BBC channels on their TVs unless they install a satellite dish.

It's time the BBC competed in a fairer market place, alongside ITV, Channel4 and Channel five. I don;t think many people worry too much about advertising interrupting programming - it happens on other channels anyway

In light of the recent reports on salaires this is well overdue; if they were privately funded via advertising then they could pay whatever they liked and I would not care less.
