Think rather then a cap, and giving better upgrades to those who don't have to use the rural internet. perhaps give us something like everyone else has. We pay the same price for rural internet as those who have better internet services and we only have 1/8 of the speed. Which is outrageous.

WE shouldn't be forced to live in 2001 because EastLink couldn't be bothered to keep up with technology.

There's no reason for this. First it was hard for those in the rural area to get any type of isp now they have to put up with this? How much do your CEO's make, as much as those at Nova Scotia Power? Time for a little competition I believe. I know I had to leave Eastlink when I moved rurally. I do have you as my ISP now but that is liable to change if you don't back on this cap!

Scrap the cap or we are no longer customers! Upgrade to more modern equipment and we might stay! As it stands if u cap us at 15 GB then we might as well use data plans on our phones!

Terrible company! Had the most difficult time trying to get Eastlink to provide internet in our area a couple years ago. Took several visits to get a pole installed in our yard.

This stupid cap makes me feel like we're going backwards rather then forward. The service is spotty and slow as it is. If anything Eastlink needs to do upgrades to this service; Not impose a stupid cap on it. Why should we have to put up with sub-par capped internet just because we're in a rural area?

My friends with high speed pay less than I do for broad band now. It is not fair to add more on top of the high cost now!!!

This is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for! 15gb can be used up within a couple hours, depending on what the service is being used for. This is going to affect students, business owners, and many more who have no other choice but to use Eastlink's broadband. How is this even remotely "fair?" Eastlink, this is a complete failure on your part and many customers are not going to be open by any means on this change. I think you need to reevaluate!

The current service is not acceptable. To think that they are going to charge more for dialup speeds is not acceptable. The government should force them to provide better service.

This is ridiculous. Eastlink's services are terrible at best. Rain or shine, it can go out for hours at a time; and it's not even comparable to speeds other people get for half the $. You guys are like the mafia, honestly.

Seaside communication's which offers this same service in the rest of the province has said a cap isn't even on the horizon.
