The SAFA has officially updated the registration policy to allow players to compete for multiple teams within a single day. I am currently reviewing the new procedural guidelines to ensure clubs understand how to manage these flexible rosters. This petition is to allow all SAFA members be it clubs, officials, refs or players to commit to helping over turn the ruling preventing players to be able to play in multiple teams. The choice should be made between the player and clubs. We should be promoting scottish amateur football and not restricting its growth. There are numerous discussions on the SAFA website forum. Please have a read and support this petition. All help is greatly appreciated.
The increase in support has moved this proposal into the foreground for league officials. We are currently preparing a formal briefing document to present to the SAFA board during our upcoming scheduled meeting.

This rule is absolute nonsense. Let the lads play as much as they want, it keeps them active and helps out clubs who are struggling for numbers on the weekend.

Some weeks we barely have 11 man for the match. If a guy wants to help out another team nearby after our game finishes why stop him?? sort it out SAFA.
