Anyone can become a rescue, with so many animals needing help it's easy to get them it's time the laws protect the animals in need they don't have a voice.

I have seen some appalling rescue centres. Some through ignorance. Guidelines and licensing would help all.

There are far too many dogooders with not enough money or knowledge 'rescuing' dogs, horses and other pets into a life of hell. SSPCA so unwilling to intervene and, also, often lack insight.

These shelters must be regulated. Disgraceful that this can happen.

I said to fellow rescuers back in 2010 when UK pound dogs were took from pound and put in emergency boarding till rescue re homing space was found Scotland experienced a lot of re homing rescues poping up to clear the back log thing is these dogs came with funding Then 2012 pet passport dogs from abroad heavey fund raising on each dog helps support people's life styles abroad and in the UK Our gold star private ran ethical UK rescues on there knees The minute a animal in need became a easy way to raise vast amounts was the warning

If you live in Scotland contact your MSPs and tell them we need new laws to regulate pet breeding and sales to end puppy farming and to licence and inspect all rescue and rehoming centres.

Animals don't have voices. We need to be their voice. No living creature deserves to be abandoned, abused or otherwise mistreated.
