This is one battle that must be won.The government and local authorities need to open their eyes to the horror these dogs endure.

Our girl Willow died at the Ark - she wasnt even supposed to be there!!

It's paramount that rescues are regulated and have some standards otherwise these poor animals don't stand a chance. Who is there for them?

I believe all animal shelters no matter how big or small should be regulated and held accountable for their actions against poor defenclive animals they should be keeping safe.

After having my heart broken when I lost my dog due to starvation and abuse whilst in the care of Animal Ark I am so pleased to support this action

Compassion is one of Scotland's key values, but this can be exploited. Please ensure the Scottish electorate can have confidence in animal rescues and shelters by regulating them and monitoring them appropriately.
