People who do things like this to poor defenceless animals should be caged and banned for life from having any kind of pet. They should also be stopped from having anything to do with animal shelters.

It's ridiculous that innocents end up like this.. I have just rehomed a puppy from sspca and am very happy. There should be a society that goes round all shelters to do spot vhecks

as an animal lover, rescue shelters need to have stringent rules and checks so no animal suffers like this poor mite did!

I can,t believe this was allowed to happen there is no way u should be able to open this type of so called santuary without proper legislation our governments are far to lax they need to step up to the mark for the animals and the humans Involved, so come on nlcola sturgeon and prime minister Mey put ur money where ur mouth is and put this right

It is shocking that there has been no proper monitoring and licensing to date. This situation is intolerable considering the amount of cruelty and neglect that takes place, which must be stopped as soon as possible. The SPCA is obviously in denial. We should not support any organisation which takes this disgraceful path.
