I have a shar pei and i would hate the thought of hi being harmed.If your not willing to look after an animal then you should never get one.I am an animal lover and the thought of them being abused or neglected makes me sick so i support this petition.

Also stop people using animals for their own entertainment. Such as greyhound racing or shooting dogs which are kept out of the family home . Dogs are family pets, companions to people not there to be treated badly for selfish individual s who use and abuse them for their chosen lifestyle.

I would like to know how you police the people who have already been Banned from from keeping any pet, I think that it would be almost impossible.

All rogue shelters should be shut down...I have rehomed 3 dogs over the years from Second Chance in Thornton Fife.. they give all dogs they looked after the best care.. always do home visits before rehoming.. and do follow ups after rehoming.. all shelters should be the same..

All animals should be protected and stiffer penalties should be given to those who cause animal cruelty ie jail. Stricter rules put in place and monthly checks on places that keep, breed and care for animals.
