Animal Rescues need regulating, in the same way that breeding and boarding establishments have to. With the advent of social media, "rescuing" animals has become a lucrative business for many and, in some cases, the money donated ends up in someone's pocket and not going to the animals in need resulting in further suffering.

Rescue should be regulated like breeding establishments and boarding kennels. With the rise in social media many people are jumping on the bandwagon of taking donations to rescue and it can be very lucrative it's only animals that suffer. This needs to stop. We need to peotect the most vulnerable animals in society.

All pet sanctuaries need to be closely monitored to ensure this never happens again.

ALL animal places need to be checked thoroughly & often AND without prior notice IF don't have enough staff well loads of unemployed desperately wanting employment !!!! No excuse re unable to carry out such desperately required checks is worth an animals life !! And any inkling of doubt re care etc then act on it immediately NOT after animals have suffered & died OR like this it has to be the public who bring such to public attention to make necessary improvements.

These barbaric hovels need to be outlawed now to stop any more innocent animals having to suffer in this cruel way.
