The Scott Arms Centre desperately needs proper shops. We have lost two good butchers and a good greengrocer in the last year. Wilkinsons moved out too, so the need for hardware and electrical goods cannot be met locally. The two small supermarkets do not meet the need for specialist shops. We have too many hot food takeaways. We call on Sandwell Council and the Centre freeholders to discourage takeaways and to encourage proper shops.
