Provide pension funds for family of Police Officers killed in the line of duty

I am retired law enforcement. I live in Virginia. I think this is a wonderful thing for pension funds for the families

This has to happen!!!

This is common sense. There's no reason for it not to be done.

Every state, every fallen officer's family should receive this.

The family members of the fallen Officer should get their pension. They gave the ultimate sacrifice. Take care of the family that was left behind.

All law enforcement should be getting a pension. Would you like to see the garbage they see on a daily basis? Would you respond to a domestic dispute, not knowing what you are getting into? I don't think so. They put their lives on the line for all citizens.

Protect our heroes by taking care of their family!!!

It's the only decent thing to do is to take care of the family of any officer killed in the line of duty. The officer took an oath to protect and serve, now it's time politicians to protect the surviving family

I think this should be down in all 50 States!!

How about we give them a raise too?!

Officers killed in the line of duty have given their all. Their families left behind shouldn't have to give their all as well.

Should have been this way from the beginning!

I'm truly amazed that in 2016 this benefit is not in place in your great state. The people who give their lives (after risking that life every day) should do so knowing their family will be cared for as they deserve. They gave their loved ones to you.
