It should go without saying that Police Officers that make the ultimate sacrifice, should be awarded with the respect due to them.
They should be awarded the comfort to know that their loved ones wont suffer from financial hardship and ruin GOD forbid, if he not return home one day.
Thet deserve this peace of mind that should he have to make the ultimate sacrifice ,their Wives and children receive the benefits of a full pension regardless of how long they had served .

SB 7012 will provide a fair and deserved benefit to the spouse and children of a Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty.

This needs to happen! Scott was a fellow deputy and his wife and children and all other survivors of fallen officers deserve it!
