This should be a "no brainer"! These officers died doing a job they loved serving a country they loved even more! There families should receive pensions!!!!

LEO families live with the fear and stress that their loved one will not return home every day. They should not be penalized with more fear and stress when it actually does happen.

Pine was a great guy, I knew him from the academy and heard nothing other than good things about him from his coworkers. He gave his life trying to stop a violent criminal, just as many brave officers risk doing every day and night. Rest in peace.
