I’ve lived in Carson and know James Foisia for many years. He’s an honorable man n have contributed to the Samoan community n to the city of Carson tremendously. And so for that, it would be the right thing and the least thing to do for the city of Carson to honor this man n his family who had served n continue to serve this community.

The most influential individual that helped our community in the City of Carson. I grew up in Carson from elementary to Carson High School. There is so many lives that this man has influenced in a positive manner. I support 100% renaming Scott Park to James Foisia Park.

For all of James' work for the city and Carson's youth, the name should be changed to honor his legacy.

To honor a man who ALWAYS put others needs ahead of his own and guided, mentored and changed the directions of the young ones who passed through his world. Scott Park was always Jame's ... about time the signage was changed to the name of a man who truly was an asset to his community and one we were priveledged to call friend.

I’m writing on behalf of CCAA (Carson Colts Alumni Association) & the community. We are wanting to Rename Scott Park after James Foisia. His memory and his body of work when employed with the City of Carson is long overdue and should be recognized more than just a "plaque" at Scott Park.
James was the catalyst for positive change at Scott Park and surrounding communities.

Uncle James has touched many lives and was a true friend to all those that crossed his path. Most were treated as family to him, no matter who you were or what you was going through....he helped all that needed help.
What an honor this would be in paying tribute to one of Carson's best!
I went to Scott park now it’s need for new name
Please rename the park!
