I strongly support this petition both as a golfer who uses the MV Golf Course frequently and as a hiker and walker who lives in Scott Highlands.

Only good can come to this for both the golf club, it's members and those who use the SAFE path.

With two young children who want to ride their bikes to school, this path would prove crucial to their safety.

I completely support a safe access path through the golf course. It would make it so much safer for school children and drivers on Buena vista/Glen Drive.

In 1978, with three children in school, I gave my life to the campaign against Prop 13.

This is long overdue. The street is so dangerous and simply not safe nor appropriate for pedestrians and bicyclists.

I proposed this path years ago, but the Mill Valley government brushed off my suggegstions.

With a home in Scott Highlands, our family would greatly benefit from this proposal. With this SAFE path, we'd be more likely to travel by bike, thus reducing auto traffic.

We live at 2 Heather Lane in Scott Highlands. It is unsafe for my family to walk downtown or to our schools along Buena Vista. The street is famous for being an incredibly dangerous route for walking/biking and there have been many 'close calls'. Please note that our neighborhood walks this route regularly - and it is an accident waiting to happen. Either we get hit by golf balls or a car- not the best situation for our kids but we have no other choice than driving and many of us prefer not to drive. This route would be an asset to all of Mill Valley as we have hiking groups who also walk along this road to get to the trails in our neighborhood. Please help us reduce traffic and provide a safe route for our families!

We at 8 Glen are fully supportive of this effort to make our neighborhood safer for all. Walking to town would definitely be much more pleasant!

Please support this resolution for a safe path through the Mill Valley Golf Course, The street is dangerous to use for walking or riding a bike. Safety is a primary concern for all. I would use the path often. Please Approve !

Please approve this SAFE path. It is extremely dangerous driving to and from town on one narrow road with blind spots, especially given that this road is shared by cyclists and pedestrians. As a family that enjoys biking, running and walking, we are very concerned about the safety of our daughter and other children. Thank you for quickly addressing this critical matter before it is too late.

As Co President of the neighborhood association this is something that has been 25 years in the making.

As the mom of a young child who hopes to ride his bike to school someday, I hope that the City Council will build a walker and biker-friendly path through the golf course. Buena Vista is simply unsafe and an accident is just waiting to happen.

This provides the safest, most cost effective way to allow bicyclists and pedestrians to walk or ride to schools and downtown Mill Valley. It will be a safe route and reduce commute time automobile traffic.

This path is very important for the safety of our children to gain access to downtown MV.

Please support our solution for a safe biking path from Scott’s Highland into town. We have two boys and we don’t like the idea of them riding their bikes to and from school on the narrow, blind curves of the current street. A safe bike path along or through the golf course makes so much sense for so many. And it will give people outside our neighborhood an easy way to access the great public hiking and biking trails. Thank you so much for your support of the community.

This is a safety issue moving cyclists safely from our neighborhood to the schools and downtown.

As a frequent bike commuter, Buena Vista is simply too dangerous for kids to be biking or walking on. Let's get it done.
