Why the change now? And why has the move for change been so quiet and rushed? Feels like the closing of Oak Ridge golf course all over again. Very quick and very quiet, and who benefitted?

Just another example of small town politics at its worst.

Keep the Rec Commission. We don't need any changes. If the politicians get involved nothing good can come from it.

As former member and chair of Rec Commission I know that Rec Comm structure works well for the benefit of the citizens and not the pleasure of the politicians in power at any particular time.if it isn't broke, don't fix it!

Why don't we focus on issues of higher impact. High taxes and poor services. Abolishing a rec commission should not even be on the radar. You have bigger fish to fry in this town and not enough horse power to know how to get it fixed.

The Recreation commission has done great things, including starting field hockey in this town so we can bring it to the high school.
