I am an adult skater and I come to SCOB in the early morning for lessons before going to work in downtown Boston. It will be difficult for me to continue coming to SCOB if it relocates to Norwood.

Please re-consider moving the club outside of Boston. It will completely change the membership and my family as well as most other members north of Boston would not be able to continue as members. The Club needs to remain true to its name.

If the skating club moves to Norwood, a significant number of members will probably drop membership. The club should be located close to it current location. Scott Malone had it right: It is The Skating Club of BOSTON!

My daughter has been on Team Excel which has skaters from a afar north as Maine. It would be a bad decision to move the club so far away.
I also believe many events would not use the facility if it is not near a major city where the needs of hundreds maybe thousands of people needs accommodations.
Please rethink moving the rink so far away from Boston.

As a lifetime member of the Boston community and and outfit figure skater who started skating glasses at the age of 10 at the skating club of Boston, I think that it would be most unfortunate to take away such an historic location for the club. While I have been a member of the Lake Placid skating club, I now live in the Boston area and care very much about the future of SCOB.

It is The Skating Club of BOSTON...not Norwood. The long and distinct history of The Club should stay where it is. I am not in agreement with moving to Norwood.

Keep our current facility, lease or sell hotel!!!
Send audited financial statements like we used to get on a yearly basis.
Consider reviewing current management, seems top heavy.
We should be in the business of ice skating no other!!!!

Central location is accessible to ALL of Boston area. Whole north side disadvantaged or even excluded by move to Norwood. Would also be impossible for us to continue

Grew up going to the SCOB have returned with five year old daughter. We have been very concerned with club's new rink plans for past few years. The first seemed financially unrealistic and this one seems not to be well thought out. We would be interested in assisting with strategy.

In my experience as a board member of a figure skating club not to be named I have seen a small group of board members with well meaning intention take the quick route to the wrong outcome. Please take the time to open the discussion of the new site exploration of the move before anyone signs anything. It's important and worthy of more investigation.
