Hello everyone! The other day I asked my mother, "How exactly do you pay taxes". My mother and father explained it but many other questions dawned upon me, like how do I get loans, how do I properly use credit cards, and all of that matter. So I asked my mother, "Why does school not teach us this stuff." And she said," I don't know, they stopped teaching HOME EC. after I got out of school." And that's how I ended up here. I'm currently in 7th grade and still have a couple years till high school, but obviously when you get working papers and start working, the store does your taxes for you but either way, it's good to know how to do this. When I get into 9th or 10th grade I hope to be able to present this petition to our states superintendent and allow for many schools' students to be taught Home Ec. Thankyou and have a great day.
