The school bus service between West pennant Hills Public School, and Oakes, Eaton, and Range Rd, has been canceled with just a weeks notice (route 625). This route was relied upon by kids as young as 5 to get home safely in a very busy traffic area. The only alternative now is in some cases an almost 3km walk, across some of the busiest roads in Sydney. Which are not 'School Zoned'. An accident is inevitable. The NSW State Govt, has permitted 'Hills Bus' to change this route in disregard to the impact on the safety of our kids getting home! They have offered NO viable alternative service to get the kids home. We ask the NSW Government to provide a school bus service from WPH Public school into this area and avoid an accident waiting to happen.
