Makes so much sense.

Surely there should be a zebra crossing at all schools for the safety of the children. To many idiots on the roads these days.

It would be very helpful for the children to use crossing and safe for them as there is double round about near school but no crossing there in rush hours there’s many cars and no one want to stop for us

This is a very busy road and junction near a double mini-roundabout. At school times the area here has many parked cars, which does not give a clear view of the junction when pedestrians (including our vulnerable children) children are crossing. The parked cars are a distraction to drivers who become frustrated, and therefore not always paying attention to the fact that children are trying to cross!

Please put safety first and provide the children with a crossing. There is only one Zebra crossing in the whole of Grove (nowhere near our school)....yet the roads are getting busier and busier. I don't like my child crossing Oxford Lane alone.

Children who walk to school alone are most at risk from this dangerous part of the road.

Oftentimes when a driver gives way, someone driving in the opposite direction does not. I have seen several near misses from drivers who are oblivious to this. The safety of children should be put first!

This road is far to dangerous not to have a lollypop lady or zebra crossing where the children cross not only is it one of the main routes out of the village it is right on a double roundabout

My eldest daughter would be fine walking to school but we won't let her because of that road

This is essential to ensure the safety of all travelling to school. Not only is this a busy road but the safest area to cross is right near the school turning & a mini roundabout so traffic not easy to judge

This crossing is much needed, The safety of all children is paramount whether crossing to go to and from school and also those in the area trying to cross the road. They need to be able to cross safely and not run the risk of being hit by s car as cars come fast through there and do not have any intention of stopping to allow people to cross the road.

I cannot believe we have to petition to allow our local children to safely arrive and leave school. In my naievity I assumed this would just be done!

Please keep our children safe and provide a safe crossing. It is difficult as a parent crossing the road due to mini-roundabouts and the sheer volume of traffic. Many are in a rush to get to work and it's an accident waiting to happen. Please help.
