This is just stupid! Girls/children go to school to LEARN dose not matter what they wear or if they wear make up as long as they are willing to learn isn't that the main thing? It's not just about the uniform some children are getting in trouble for the most ridiculous things ie. Forgetting to Wright the date, didn't have a pencil sharpener! Teachers are there to build self confidence, trust and most of all young adults to be their best they can be not putting them down! I dread my going in 2years hope they resolve the situation by then!

I completely agree that girls should be prouder of their figure. Girls wear tight clothing like skirts and trousers because they want to be proud of their body. They want to be more comfortable in clothing that they feel are complimenting their figures. Some may show off and some may be self conscious but that shouldnt stop girls from wanting to be happy with who they are and what they want to be.

Pathetic! My girl is year 6 in sept ( potentially could come to academy) lives leggings! I’d that sexualised? No I think not! She’s comfy and is happy wearing these! How does this affect school? Not at all! As long as she’s smart then there’s no problem! I am disgusted to read that it’s classed this way!i understand school needs boundaries and to make it look good but can u tell me that male children don’t wear skinny jeans and arnt being victimised in tho way? On for boys not girls???? I rest my case!!!!!!!

Shouldn't be penalised for what they choose to wear

It's discussing that girls are sexualised like this , they showily be allowed to wear what they want, it's not the same for boys they are allowed to wear tighter clothing than the girls.

It’s ridiculous making us wear uncomfortable clothing and the lads feeling fine about theirselves. We shouldn’t be treat like this while the teachers have tight skirts, pants and leggings on. It’s unfair on us lasses

It’s not about how you look it’s about what you feel comfortable in and I’m sorry but me walking around with baggy pants on is not making me feel comfortable, why should we have to do this? Because the teachers are all perverts? School is meant to be a safe environment. We should be allowed to wear what we want, as long as it’s school wear I do not see a problem. I think all of the senior staff need to grow up to be honest

I think that every school should let students including my self where what makes them feel most comfortable as they have to have 6 hours of school so they should let all the students wear tight pants and not judge the students including my self , and they should be able to wear tight skirts and boys should be able to wear tight pants aswell and for pe we should be able to wear leggings and tight shorts as these clothing don’t effect no learning the teachers just make them and they can wear tight stuff everyday so why can’t we ???

Maybe the school should start to control the males and teach them that we are not sexual objects! We girls want to go to school feeling comfortable and not that we have to cover ourselves up and make ourselves feel uncomfortable incase a male student or teacher is distracted, if a male teacher is then distracted by what we wear then they shouldn’t be allowed to work in an environment with young females.
