The schools will not provide transportation for children under a 2 mile radius from there school. Parents have to find other means of transportation for there children such as: walking, car pool, or parent pick up. For most families it is hard to do so. Most famlies have more then one child that may go to different schools and have a hard time getting them to both. What about single parents that have to work and dont have some one to bring there children. Don't forget parents that both work. Also lets not forget families that do not have transportation of there own. That brings me to the chilren having walk 2 miles to school. Crime rate is up and theres many registered sex offenders. More and more people are using there cell phones while driving and causing accidents. It is not safe for our children to be walking. Lets stand up for our children! This petition is for all childen to have transportation even for those under 2 miles!
