Our main issue is the fact that there are not enough cold sandwiches/ hot baguettes to provide for many pupils in the school. People in year groups that are 3rd/4th/5th do not get the opportunity to have a choice on what they eat. Not as many pupils eat the hot meals, especially in years 9,10 and 11. For example, this lunch time, there were no sandwiches left, and many people had to queue up for a hot meal. Today, We had to queue up for atleast 20 mins before being served. We had ten minutes to eat and we were rushed because we didn’t want to get hurried up by the teachers. As we were rushing this made a choking hazard. This could have also given us indigestion.

Another point we wish to be brought forward is the fact that we have to waste our lunch time waiting in extremely long queues to be served.

We suggest that every year a pupil receptionist, or staff member is given a list of everyone in the form. They should then ask each pupil whether they are going to have packed lunches or hot meals/cold sandwiches. Then we can estimate how much food needs to be provided each week. This will give us the opportunity to have the food we wish to eat each day of the week.

It isn’t fair on the pupils that are last and there is no food left. They don’t deserve to not have anything to eat. Another reason why it is unfair is because some of the pupils don’t have breakfast and are starving by the time it’s lunch time and arrive at the counter and there’s nothing left but a brownie/ a busicuit. It isn’t very nutritional to have a dessert for lunch.

More food should be made, and the sandwich counter should be refilled after the first batch has ran out. Parents pay money for their children to be fed, they do not pay the school for no reason.they want their children to be nutritioned.

If the school can not afford to cater for the amount of pupils at the school, they should cut down on the amount of yr 7 pupils they admit each year.
