Are you sick of waking up every morning in the dreading, frosty cold? Do you hate having to get out of your warm snugly bed to walk onto the cold floors? Does it bother you to have to be forced to shovel your driveway while it rapidly snows and drenches you? Or are you just sick of having to wear 30 pounds of wear to only have to go and sit in a wooden desk and not be able to focus because your'e too distracted by the thoughts of playing in the snow like you should be! Well then your'e one of us. We are tired of this too! If you live in America Or Canada you know just how draining all the hauling around in the cold weather can be. That is why we should have school in the summer. Now before you go "NO NO NO!" because you want your "summer vacation", think about this. Most accidents happen in the winter time. So not only is it dangerous, but it could take your opportunity of education for good! Not only that, but the most absences during school, is in the wintertime due to bus cancellations, un-plowed roads, or just not wanting to get up so early in the freezing cold. If we were to have school during the summer time, that would mean we would start school in March to December, meaning we'd have February and January off, the coldest months in the winter. We's still have our March Breaks AND the holidays in December, not to mention the P.A days that we have. There would be no need for buses to drive off in the icy roads and cause accidents. Many cars during the wintertime have crashed due to rushing their kids to school and caused collisions on highways and roads. Also having school during the winter would increase interest in activities because unlike winter time, we can go out and learn thing outdoors. Not to mention, people are in a better mood. January and February should be a time where people have to relax after Christmas and be able to just relax their minds. Whether it be snuggling in your comfy bed or walloping in your Pj's.
