i think we should have free dress code not only because to show off but theres people with insecurities and other things and maybe want to try and look good in different clothes, plus people should be comfortable with wearing what they want seeing how much kids had to pick up there clothibg after school made me feel bad because of the looks on there faces it was sad and very crazy i mean we already have to put our phones up for good until passing period now its clothing? what is this jail? this is a learning enviornment so i understand the phones but the clothes people should he able to wear anything.

Me personally imma wear what I want and I’ve been going to woods for 2 years now and now we wanna change it up because he said she said it’s hot as balls outside and I’m not gonna change my style because of you . You can take my phone but not my ability to express my self!!! They act like the school wasn’t doing pajama day for spirt week ??

i think that everyone should be able to wear what they want without being judged if it’s distracting people from learning then that’s there own fault you need to be paying attention to what your Learning and now what someone have on

If you take away the fun stuff that the students can do by dressing up to support what they are interested in, then why have any of those activities? This is what creates different individuals with many creative ideas! I graduated high school in 1974 and it was a whole different world back then, but you know what…. we got to wear what we wanted to wear within reason, that included the cheerleaders wearing their cheerleading outfits on a certain day or the FFA crew got to wear their hats & their jackets from FFA Throughout the day. I don’t understand what blocks the rest of the day from going on based on certain clothing. Does teaching stop because someone is wearing a skirt I understand that you have to have some decorum on what people might wear. But I would walk a fine line here because you are taking away the rights of people therefore, you are taking away their FREEDOM!! Don’t do that!!

I understand we as students need structure, boundaries and we are being taught professionalism. School administrators our prioritizing our bodies more then our education. They would rather have us sit in the office than be in class with an inch of my stomach showing. Today a Junior girl got dress coded for a pair of biker shorts while doing so a boy walked past wearing the same length shorts this clearly shows the double standard and sexism of the current dress code. This is gender discrimination and students won’t stand for it.
