This is ridiculous. How does a logo on a shirt interfere with my child’s education. This is a inconvenient to the parents that cannot afford to purchase a new wardrobe for their kids. Also, kids will tease for just about anything, will you restrict sneakers, hairstyles, etc. please do away with this restriction.

It's very upsetting that we're treated as people who cant handle real world issues without being offended. So you try and protect us from tshirts with logos and graphics. This is absolutely appalling to see that as young adults, the future of America, we can not express how we feel or our pride because we are protecting...what? What are we protecting?? I haven't seen one student offended by what i wear, nor distracted. In fact, i actually receive compliments upon the shirts i wear from my fellow classmates and my teachers. It puts a smile on my face and gives me the confidence I dont always have. This is our statement. I wear what i wear because i am proud of who i am. I wear the local brand shirts because i am proud to be borned and raised in florida. I own shirts raising awarness to our endangered species that i can not wear now. You're depriving me of practicing my rights. I want a learning environmemt wear i feel safe to wear what I feel comfortable in, i feel like an individual, that i am someone. Not some plain tshirt walking around. I am not just a number in the school system, i am a student. I have a future. I have feelings and problems that matter. I have a voice go be heard. I will not be silenced. This is our school. I will stand up foe what i believe in. Stop trying to make us perfect. Stop trying to make us feel "safe" because its not working. Stop trying to fit us in this cookie cutter. We are all DIFFERENT, AND WE SHOULD BE CELEBRATING IT AND EMBRACING IT RATHER THAN CONCEALING IT BECAUSE IT MAY OFFEND SOMEONE. Or maybe youre concealing it, to stop if from offending you... Think about that.

Broooo theres kids coming to school feeling suicidal and depressed all the time but they really wanna make a logo over 2 inches a big deal. Why dont yall focus on the kids that attend your school and their well being instead of some silly dress code. Lets put these things on an importance scale, would kids attire go above their emotional state??

The schools need to be focusing on what really matters! Students and teachers are being sexually harrassed and molested, privacy and inappropriate photos or videos are being taken and spread around, drugs and alcohol is taking place, etc.) Its absolutely ridiculous that after all of these terrible things that I know for a FACT happens ( The schools have nothing to say on the matters) you have the audacity to say that students aren't allowed to wear clothing with words or logos. I'm against this rule and many won't follow it. If you want to still implement this rule then you need to get a bigger ISS room and common sense.

As a former IRC student and a product of IRC schools, this is frustrating to see. When I was in high school, the dress code made girls feel awful about themselves. Girls seemed to get in trouble more than guys did. In a way, it was sexist and used to make a lot of my friends and I care more about looks than the education we were reciving because even if it was a “slight” violation, we’d be pulled from class and ridiculed for not “looking appropriate.” It’s Florida, it’s hot and what people wear isn’t an excuse for anything. My fear with this is that, yet again, young girls going to school are going to be taught that what they wear determines their value.
