School dress code

Dress code is ridiculous just stop it’s not right that you ruin the last years of our childhood makeing us all look the same let us be ourselves if we wanna wear a shirt with a Nike symbol bigger then 2 inches we should be able too some of us already bought clothes for school and I’ll have to inform you that I have bought a number of clothes with designs that wouldn’t fit dress code now I’m sure others have also good luck vero I won’t be doing this dress code stuff I simply refuse to have bought clothes for school and not be able to wear them and others should feel the same way not cool

I find the new policy iverboard, enforce the dress code that was in place already, and lets start focusing on the bigger issues that create distraction

Please put it back the way it was. Kids today hate jeans that are baggy around their ankles and finding shirts with logos smaller than 2" is a joke.

I could not disagree more with the new rules and this is exactly why the current school board needs to be removed. With all the issues that you need to be focuising on your wasting your time and parents money on clothing. Sad!!

There are more important things to focus on besides words/pictures on a shirt, like education and safety. I am offended that the school district doesn't think we as parents know what is appropriate for our children to wear.

So if I show up to class wearing a shirt that has a logo bigger than 2 inches, teachers are gonna kick me out of class which In reality makes a bigger distraction then the size of my logo. Seeing as we sit all facing forward in class most of the time anyway. You don’t even see the front of a person shirt while learning. This rule is completely unnecessary. The school board should be focusing on the bigger problems at hand or the individual students that are causing this whole rule in the first place

This breaks our right to express ourselves freely in a public location. This dress code is extremely unnecessary. Students should not have to be subject to a uniform in a PUBLIC setting school. Previous dress code rules were fine and should be kept in place. If this was such a problem than the same teachers that decided this rule should have implemented it more often than they did. I feel for the kids that have to make their own money and buy their own clothes because of their economic position. I feel as a student I should have the right to decied if I can or cannot wear my favorite t-shirts or not.

I feel like clothes with no words or logos is a bit ridiculous. Either have uniforms or do not. If the school enforced the dress code we already had, this wouldn't be necessary... On a personal note, we already purchased my daughter's school clothes. We can not afford to go out and find more at such a late date.

As a parent once being a teenage I know that a simple brand logo or message (political) does not disrupt a student's learning environment.

I wouldn't expect the school board to understand why my Shepard need to wear designer. But if you must know, as a child Shepard was bullied for wearing faded glory and lame ass brands like those, and he would come home and cry to me about how mean the kids were. He told me one time that he went into school and was peacefully eating beans at his desk, and one of his African American class mates yelled out "This nibba is eating beans in the classroom" and Shepard got scared and spilled his beans all over his ugly faded glory shirt and cried for hours. When he came home there was a rash on his face from where the tears ran down. From that moment on I vowed to make sure Shepard was never caught lackin' again. We went out to the Neiman Marcus and dropped a light 50. From that day on not a single person made fun on my Shepard. He flexed on those broke bois so hard they were the ones crying. So let me tell you this Broke boi brown.. if my Shepard has to relive his middle school years of wearing faded glory for one more day, we are going to have a problem.
