School Bus Service / Charlestown - Boston Latin School

We really need a school bus from Charlestown to Boston Latin. The commute time is just over an hour. Which is too much time for seventh grader who is just getting acclimated to the school. Please do all that you can to reinstate this bus.

We would use the bus for our 12 year old to get to school.

It's important to have a safe, reliable, option that gets our 12 yr old to school early in the morning without having to navigate a public transit system that doesn't have any direct routes between Charlestown and BLS.

Bus should be reinstated for the kids that go to school at BLS

It is not safe for our 12 year old daughter to navigate public transport systems in the early morning hours before school. Please provide a school bus to transport Charlestown students to BLS.

I am very concerned to think my 12 year old daughter will be walking to take public transportation in the early mornings. The weather is very unpredictable and the mornings are not light once fall and winter arrives. This is not only a convienence for our community but more importantly a significant safety measure to have our 7th and 8th grade children ride a school bus to Boston Latin School

Students have to be in school early. It is too early for them to be walking to and waiting in deserted mbta stations. It is not safe.

We are relying on bus service to continue in order to transition to Boston Latin School for September 2017. Sincerely, Tracey Sardina

We live in Charlestown and our son will be starting at Boston Latin School in the fall and needs school bus service. We are both working parents and can't drive him over and do not feel comfortable having him take the train. please make sure there is a bus from Charlestown. Thank you, Jen DiManno

Requiring our 12-13 year olds commute to and from school on the available public transportation route between Charlestown and Boston Latin School is simply not safe for them. Please reinstate the service. Thank you.

Once again, we are requesting that BPS provide our Charlestown students attending BLS a school bus to and from BLS. Several of the bus companies garage their buses in our Charlestown neighborhood. If a bus is not provided we suffer the consequences of the added strain on our neighborhood with none of the benefits. Other neighborhoods are able to utilize the MBTA with direct nonstop bus routes, buy the city has not offered this solution to our transportation issue. I hope the city will continue to provide a school bus for the students of Charlestown. Thank you.
