The current counsellor that the school accesses visits the school once a week, for children who have been referred to school counselling. The children need immediate access to have a voice in the schools current unsettling state. Parents also need full transparency with regards to process & options which are/will take place.

Signed -counselling is definitely a good practice. This school has a very poor inspectorate report, and the leadership is questioned. Making children aware and helping them in their own well-being as well as their peers, helps them throughout their educational, work and personal life

Counselling is always a good practice. Especially in young children where problems can be dealt with much easier than allowing problems to grow with the child. If not acted upon early enough these problems can manifest into adulthood, where it can be even more problematic to be recognised, diagnosed and cured. It will also ruin the child's future and could ruin other children's futures.

As a parent of YSD I am concerned about the current 'behaviuors'. I think that this would be a good solutions - especially regarding the relationship between the school and us parents.
