My daughter is attending Brock for the next 4 years. My priority as a parent is to keep her safe, the school should have the same priorities.

I recently started at Brock, and had finally got to a place where I felt comfortable in its community. Then, I heard about the unacceptable actions of Brock Professor David Schimmelpenninck. This is unacceptable. I am ashamed. The way Brock handled this is unacceptable. This professor sexually assaulted a student, but more important than that are the women who are survivors of his actions. That this has happened to them, that Brock has allowed this to happen to them is unacceptable. Brock should be an ally and protector of its students. It needs to change. This needs to change, and hopefully this is how I can help change it.

"I plead with you because I cannot possibly imagine the damage to my career and my family a report to security at Brock will do. I know that the university takes such actions very seriously and I will probably lose my job over this." Hasn’t lost his job and he should. I wanna see action, fire him. Thank you, next.

Let's stop these predatory men from taking advantage of their position of authority and getting away with it. Time and time again.

What an embarassment, Schimmelpenninck and Brock University should both be ashamed.
