We the undersigned, request First Responder EMS to maintain the shift schedule of 48/96. We as field providers and dispatchers know that the 48/96 shift schedule is not the cause of late response times and to deviate from this shift schedule would not improve response times. We as field providers do not find the 48/96 schedule causing fatigue that would require a shift schedule change. We as field providers see the potential of risk to personal safety and impairment with patient care if shift schedules were to change to a kelly schedule.
