For a teacher to grade strictly upon an assignment, clear and foward instructions should be provided. We, as students of Ms. Thornton's gifted/accelerated American literature classes, request for a longer time period in which to complete The Scarlet Letter analysis project. Though we have had a week added to the deadline, the lack of instruction does not allow us to complete it to its fullest extent. Once provided with better instruction and clarification, we will complete the assignment at hand.
